Design Icons – Then and Now
Immerse yourself in the worlds of fashion, design and style at m21 Gallery.
On display are Bálint Ferenczy’s and the Initio Art & Design Gallery’s Hungarian and Czech vintage lamp collections; standout, museum-grade pieces from VA Design’s furniture holdings – including iconic designs by Marcel Breuer, Walter Gropius, Eileen Gray and Gerrit Rietveld – alongside the timeless objects of 1990s star designer Philippe Starck. Fashion is an essential strand of contemporary design: one of Hungary’s most progressive directions is represented here by designer Judit Garam from NUBU fashion studio, whose collections are inspired by contemporary visual artists.
